Creative writing aficionados: read up! In this section, we feature literary works, short stories, personal accounts, and imaginative pieces—usually told in the first-person. At h-pem, we believe that literature can be fun and, though our platform’s language is English, all of these stories have a distinctly Armenian flare.

As an arts and cultural platform, we would be remiss to not include interviews with the very people we feature! In this section, you can find discussions with a wide array of artistic minds, ranging from comedians to calligraphers, filmmakers to musicians and beyond!

Ever wondered what a cross between Wikipedia, IMDB, and LinkedIn would look like? Well, ponder no further! In our Profiles section, we highlight Armenian artists of past and present with an in-depth look at their artistry; replete with tidbits about their lives; an overview of their styles, influences, and selections of their works; with multimedia links to learn more about them. It’s a pretty comprehensive way to discover Armenian artists you’ve never heard of—as well as to learn more about the ones you already know and love.

Are you a visual person? Then this category was made for you! Here, images take center stage. Beautiful photographs, peppered with short captions, tell a story about a particular place, event, or topic. In this section, you can find everything from a list of Armenian references in Game of Thrones to Western Armenian sites to lesser-known Armenian holidays.

Similar to an op-ed section in conventional publications, here, writers take an in-depth look at a particular topic, theme, or event, and analyze it from an angle of their choosing. These can include commentaries on social conventions, reviews of exhibitions or film screenings, and lists on what to binge-watch—among other things!
