#IsolateWithHPem episode 7: Genealogist George Aghjayan

Running out of juice during these trying times? Well, we've got you covered! On April 6, h-pem kicked-off its social connection initiative #IsolateWithHPem. For the foreseeable future, we will periodically post exclusive videos from our talented friends, who are professionals in their respective fields—from cooking and dance to comedy, journalism, and beyond. Their snappy tutorials will help us all combat the challenges posed by physical isolation through a virtual learning hub. Stay tuned!

Tomorrow is #ArmenianGenocide Remembrance Day. In the century since the rupture, our families have dispersed across the world, creating the global Armenian diaspora as we know it today.

In this episode of #IsolateWithHPem, genealogist and director of the Armenian Historical Archives George Aghjayan asks us to think of repairing that rupture by working on our family trees. His advice is simple, and the best part is, all of it can be done in the safety of your home.

1. Talk to your family. Ask them questions.
2. Join the Armenian genealogy Facebook group.
3. Take a DNA test.

Stay tuned for more tutorials from other professionals. #IsolateWithHPem
